I have been waiting for my cheeseburger for over an hour and a half. Local food is cool and all but next time I'm in Durango and hungry I'm going to go a brutally efficient franchise with cartoony mascots and nice, long supply chains.
Edit: The food was average at best for a burger joint (albeit wildly overpriced), and the most frustrating part of the experience was their complete lack of acknowledgment or concessions regarding the ridiculous wait. There is no way this place could survive in any populated area.
Finally, you have to give your name and phone number (?) to place an order. I asked the cashier to confirm that their janky looking SaaS POS system didn't send any personal identifiable information to an outside server. The cashier assured me that this was the case, but when I finally got a notification that my order was ready it came from a Boston area code which strongly implies otherwise. If you value your privacy this is not okay.
Supposedly all of the workers are family- they clearly have no idea what they're doing and they should bring in professionals. Zero chance I will return.
Edit #2: My formerly clean corporate phone number began receiving spam text messages addressed to the exact name I provided with my order about the "Celebrity Summer Secret" diet THAT NIGHT. I have no doubt that they simply don't understand the technology they are using but regardless, these people are inept profiteers and I am livid. DO NOT PROVIDE THEM WITH YOUR TELEPHONE NUMBER.
Looking back, I can honestly say that this was the most negative dining experience that I have ever...
Read morevery disappointed in this place, i came from houston like every year to durango, i watched videos on instagram and we got excited. we are a hispanic family and last night we came to dinner after the train from silverton and the woman was very rude, i think it's the owner, she took away the plate from My daughter, without having finished the hour, it was almost 8 pm, but if they didn't want there to be people, they would have said there is no more service, so little she asked, have you finished, and there were other people, I clarified, they were white and they still had plates and they had more time than us, but he The treatment was very kind to them, my children left this perfect place sad because they felt discrimination. If you are Latin, I do not recommend this place, nor do you look at how they put it on their networks and the...
Read moreThe quality of beef is outstanding! As a cattle rancher myself I am a little picky but this place is great. The burgers are very large in size and juicy. I normally can not do cheese but their ranch grown dairy was great! You can tell they don’t have any additives to their products. The restaurant has amazing views and atmosphere. It does get busy as soon as it opens so be prepared for that. It is a walk up to the counter and order type of place and then they bring you the food. The service was super helpful and made great accommodations to food allergies. The gluten free bun was super tasty and homemade. Inside the market store had great selection of food, wine and pre made meals. If you are heading up the mountain and need some groceries or meals this is a great place to stop. It’s not far north of Durango and very much...
