As a local this is the gold standard for the butcher department. The fresh meats and seafood are always top notch. The frozen meat case have regular to out of the ordinary selections. Their market has suck a fun variety of specialty items. My favorite is the peri peri dry rub. You can put it so any meat and the flavor will blow your mind. The deli department makes really great sandwiches and to go items but I would be remiss if I didn’t mention their to go, single serving, carrot cake and German chocolate cake. HEAVEN. They do not have a credit card device capable of swiping a card. Who doesn’t these days? So they wanted to enter my card in manually. And they couldn’t do that because there’s numbers missing off of my card. Therefore, I had to pay a different way that I was not planning on. Meanwhile, a manager or store clerk was sitting there the whole time while the cashier was trying to help me with this.    Read moreFantastic butcher shop that not only sells high quality pasture raised meats, the harvesting practices used at the Sunnyside plant are humain and full of care. I have personally been on the butcher floor and harvesting floors and they do an amazing job of making sure everything is handled with care. Everytime I'm in Durango seeing friends I make sure to stock up a cooler with meats and products from Sunnyside.
