I truly cannot sing Jamila’s praises enough! Throughout the entire process of us working together, from the booking process to my wedding day, Jamila was incredibly professional, communicative, supportive, and collaborative. I truly felt like a partner in the process and she paid attention to all of my needs and desires. The initial phone call with her was so informative and detailed and I knew immediately that I had to work with her. Jamila has such a wide and extensive amount of knowledge and expertise regarding hair and makeup, so I knew I was in good hands and I absolutely was!

My hair and makeup trials were incredible. She captured exactly what I was looking for regarding my hair and she was so responsive and understanding when I had some feedback regarding my makeup and she was able to implement that feedback flawlessly on my wedding day! Also, her team was incredible in providing makeup services for my bridesmaids and I know they were so appreciative!

But where I feel Jamila truly saved me and was honestly my hero was in the week leading up to my wedding. I had a really bad reaction to full face threading and I had bumps all over my face. After informing her, Jamila was so helpful, dedicated, and supportive in trying to treat this reaction. She enlisted help from so many people in her network and she checked in daily with detailed treatment steps and asked for updates. The whole week, I was so nervous and anxious that I wouldn’t look as good on my wedding day, but Jamila did everything in her power to make sure that didn’t happen! By Saturday, my face looked so much better and my makeup looked incredible so people couldn’t tell at all! Jamila was also there throughout the entire day, basically, giving me touch-ups on my makeup and giving me a second look for my hair when I changed into my Nigerian attire during my reception.

We had our initial call and Jamila was very honest yet realistic with me about my desired wedding hairstyle.
