The last 2 times I've been to Tucker's I've had a bad experience. First a couple years ago I dropped off a 200# pig. When I got it back and started using the meat the femur bones in both hams were shattered to the point that there was blood thru-out the meat and we couldn't eat it. Second I dropped off a bull and asked for it to hang 21 days, they cut it up after 12. I wanted my steaks cut 1" thick. They are cut 1/2" thick. Do you know how hard it is to cook 1/2" steak medium rare. When you put so much into raising your own pork and beef you like to get it back the way you want it. I'll never go back there. Enter at...

Hamburger meat was grounded too fine and can’t even make a patty and it stay together. Cuts of steaks aren’t of the same thickness so you have to cut steaks for everything to be cooked properly. Was told my portion weighed 200 lbs after processing. Got home and weighed it. Only weighed 99.7 lbs all together. Other family involved in this beef was well short as well. I did reach out to butcher shared concerns and nothing was offered to make it right. This is why I...
Read moreDo not EVER go here. ALL my hamburger meat was rotten & they refused to refund it - they blamed it on me. They said I mishandled it. As soon as I got it home, I thawed some out to eat & it had rotten spots all over it - had to have happened in their freezers. Mine was stored in a trailer in the back. I've had MULTIPLE people say the same thing happened to them. I have no idea how they're rating is 4.1 after all the people I talked to about them.
Also, they won't give you your good cuts, they don't even offer them unless you ask, so don't assume you're getting everything from the livestock you...
