I got a pedicure in April of last yearal as a birthday present from my grandma. I had a sprained ankle at the time and I had requested to not have a massage but I was not listened to and the lady that did it said "don't worry I'll be gentle" despite me saying no many times. she was not gentle, when I had complained of pain she didn't stop and just said "it's fine, I'm being gentle". they also used dirty utensils. she was very aggressive with cutting my cuticles and nails and ended up cutting my skin on both big toes. shortly after my big toes were in a lot of pain and later I found infection in both of them. they cut my big toe nails at an angle and made ingrown toenails. the infection came from the dirty utensils and them cutting my skin. that infection and nail damage lasted until January of this year when I had to get surgery to get both of my big toenails fully and permanently removed. I will not be going back and now I am left with only 8 toenails because I wasn't listened to and they were not careful of my skin and they used unhygienic tools. I would recommend going literally...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe owner has responded and has claimed Iām dishonest. Let me be clear: my daughter, myself and my friend watched your employee CLIP my daughters toenails when she asked HER NOT TO. You should be ashamed, you are the one being dishonest. The artist who did my daughters pedicure was extremely rough & aggressive, and resulted in the edge of my daughters big toe bleeding (when we got home) and her not being able to walk. She was visibly limping when we left and the owner is lying.
When I tried to talk to the manager about how they treated my daughter, she denied that her employee had done anything wrong, and claimed that her employee neither clipped or filed her toenails, when I had watched her do both. My daughter asked the nail artist to stop filing her nails several times and repeatedly told her she was hurting her. The level of disrespect and lack of care was astonishing, DO...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wasnāt going to leave a review but ⦠I got my nails done yesterday here and the manicure lady cut me in 4 places deeply when first filing the acrylic nail down, then a bubble formed under my nail. She said sorry, but then later proceeded to burst the bubble with the electric nail driller. She kept apologizing which is nice, but the wounds were very painful. I have never ever been cut like this in a nail salon before. I went to a nail salon on Aurora Ave in Seattle (not very nice area) and the same acrylic nail set was done for $55. Just $5 cheaper, but I was not cut at all. The wounds feel like very deep paper cuts and I am still in pain now. Also, at the end when I left a $5 tip for the manicure because of the sloppy experience, I think I was laughed at by her to the other lady. I am sad and in shock. I just wanted to post this to warn other...
