officially Pickle-liciously Perfect Prime Time!
Whenever i enter, it seems like the clock has just struck the hour where the aroma of the "Dill-icious Destroyer" type burger is reaching peak olfactory perfection. The burgers typically are a juicy, perfectly seasoned patty nestled between a toasted bun, topped with crispy fried melty cheddar, and sauce to make your taste buds do the Charleston. Seriously, this burger is so good that it once convinced a grumpy badger to share his berries.
And don't even get us STARTED on our legendary homemade secret recipe ranch dressing. It's creamy and so utterly addictive. It's rumored to have been passed down through generations of mischievous garden gnomes. I once tried to bribe the cooks for the recipe with everything from shiny buttons to money - no dice. It's a closely guarded secret, but you can taste the love. It's so good that when i am dunking my fried zuccini, another addicting item and a great way to get your serving of vegetables) in it, i almost ate my napkin.
But the pièce de résistance of this glorious Pickle Time? It's gotta be the ever-growing gallery of patron masterpieces adorning the walls. From surprisingly accurate portraits sketches to abstract pickle-themed doodles , it's a testament to the creative energy fueled by our fantastic food. They ha've got a particularly striking rendition of a pickle Darth Vader complete with a helmet that's been drawing rave reviews (and the occasional bewildered stare).
I would encourage people to cone down and try the magical ranch and maybe even contribute your own artistic flair to their ...
Read moreI have LOVED Pickle Time for many years. I live 76 miles away and have gone pretty far out of my way for a burger and fried pickles.
I stopped and got an onion burger on August 16, 2023, which was as phenomenal as ever. Their burgers, chicken, fish, fries, and sauces are top-notch. However, I was really, really disappointed that they've decided to use pickle chips rather than pickle spears for their fried pickles. The batter is still delicious, but the pickle chip to batter ratio just takes away from the entire flavor and experience. The fried pickles were the number one reason that I was so enamored by this wonderful mom-and-pop-shop in the first place.
It was also pretty sad to see the hand-drawn artistic interpretations of pickles on the walls had been taken down. I don't know if this was a decision made because they intend to remodel or something of the sort, but it was such a unique, fun, community-fostering aspect of the restaurant that I always looked forward to admiring while I enjoyed my meal.
The next time I'm in the area, I hope to see that they've decided to bring the pickle spears and pictures back. Those are the only two reasons I've given them 4...
Read moreHad an good experience here today. Worth the drive. I am not aware of other closer Bellevue locations, but the drive makes it worth it. Great service. I could see 2-3 employees. They all were phenomenal at what they do. Customer service is a 9.5. Presentation was classic, can’t mess up a basket. Presentation is a 7. Fries were above average. Great crisp to them, give them about a 6.5. Prefer more potato volume, but definitely mastered this genre of French fry. 6.5. Cheeseburger, it was my favorite food aspect of the meal. The name of the game is pickles and you can tell in the best way possible. Good burger! 7.5-8. Shake was good! 7/10 due to the amount of shake you receive. We could do better on price though. $11.60 is pretty steep for your typical “Classic Burger.” That I give a 3. Overall, it’s about the experience. My Co-burger enjoyer puts it best when he says it’s “the drive to pickle time is lit!” It really is. My heart tells me to have the 7.5/10 that I gave this burger joint and make that a 4/5 ⭐️. Come to this burger place, some of the best eastside burgers I have had. The price is a bummer, but the service and experience are just so great. Good food as...
