Food Rite — Local services in Dyer

Moving recently to Tennessee, I have discovered the beauty of small town living.the store is great, convenient. The prices are higher then other places, however I am ok with that, being able to shop local. The only. Inverness I have is a Check out girl you have, Haile is her name. Each Time I have been there, and have gone through her lane, she says nothing to me, acts as if it is a terrible experience to talk, be happy, let alone smile. She has ZERO people skills. So... future shopping for me there. I will go to a different checkout if available, or if Haile is the only checker, I will leave my cart of shopping there, and walk out. No pay, and go else where. NEVER ORDER CAKES HERE!!! When ordering them they had said they forgot to make a cake and ordering reminded them to make the cake which should have been my first clue but my husband insisted I give them a chance… I ordered 3 cakes 2 weeks in advance… I asked that they be ready by Friday feb 28 and they made them feb 20 so when I go in to pick up the cakes they don’t have them for 3 children’s birthdays… worst experience ever… the bakery is completely useless… no call… no text… nothing… thank you for going out of your way to ruin my...

Some items can be a bit pricey, but for the most part, their fresh produce is generally cheaper than that of Walmart's, and the grind their own hamburger which I have compared to that of Walmart's and found them competitively priced but, this Food Rites meat tastes better, and I get less fat by far than that I get from Walmarts. Some products I would and do prefer to go elsewhere for, but I have found this store to be very friendly and helpful, and reasonably priced...
