Good doctors, but terrible service. My wife and I had to complete my intake paperwork 3 times because I guess they fail to properly capture/move the info? Once when I made my appointment, again when I confirmed my appointment, and then a third time when I came into the office.

The thing that really rubbed me wrong was the glasses department though. After my appointment, my wife and I picked out frames, then spent over half an hour waiting while one of the women chatted with some guy. I think another lady works in the department, but she just sat in the office. We were given minimal assistance in measurements or finding the right size, but I eventually found one that felt comfortable.

Returning to pick up my glasses I noticed it was tight across the bridge and that the arms felt wrong. I asked for an adjustment and the same woman bent it a little with her hands and told me it would work itself out. Every other glasses place I have been to has used some form of heat to stretch glasses, so this felt all kinds of wrong.

Right now I'm staring at a $400+ pair of glasses that I can't wear at work because the frames leave painful dents in my temples and leads to headaches. I will try using a hair dryer later, but this is really not what I expect to do after getting new glasses that I've paid...

My experience with Dyersburg Family Eye Care has been#1 for the eye care needs of my family and myself. Emergency needs have come up occasionally and Dr Manning has been one to go the second mile to see to our needs. UPDATE: 2018: Recently, I went to have my yearly eye exam. What a wonderful experience! While Dr Manning was doing his exam, we laughed and talked like ole friends. Thanks, Dr Tom! Update 2020 I have seen Dr Schroeder several times. I would like to say that he is one of the nicest men I have met in a long, long time. He is patient, kind, empathetic and caring. He also has a excellent knowledge of eye care. Thank you so much, Doc! Last but not least are the receptionists and Assistants. There are none better! thanks!

March 2022 Family Eye Care is the best place to go for getting the personal attention you need for your eyes. I've had the best experience one could ask for. Dr Shroeder is so friendly and he has a heart for helping people. He has a way of building your confidence when he walks in the room and you feel the same when you walk out the door.
