Roy's General Store — Local services in East Bay Township

Bought a husqvarna tractor here, great machine, priced right. Came back 9 months or so later and bought a husqvarna snowblower for 1500$. I thought I purchased a good machine from a reputable dealer, the store has a great bait and tackle set up I visited weekly, I used my snowblower twice, (still has almost a full tank of fuel) and the drive quit. The machine was underpowered and I really did not like it so I tried to return it, they apparently have no return policy, so they’ll “fix” it and it’ll sit in my garage until next winter and I can hope it works. I will never buy another machine here. But hey, I get 12 free gas station pizzas! 🙄

Update, 4/14/19- just went to put the machine in storage, drove on the trailer fine, went to unload, and the drive quit again!🤬 I get to go back to Roys tomorrow!!!! Don’t buy this junk from them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

update 6/25/19 went to get my machine (they never called to tell me it was done) they tried to charge me 26$ for "storage" this thing is still junk, husqvarna says its up to the store to make it right with me, roys blames husqvarna, go to a real equipment dealer, dont do business with...

Good place to stop in and get things fixed. Lawn mower so on, definitely a store with variety, my issue is the food they serve. I wish I could share pictures, the burgers and hot dogs and brats are sometimes completely jacked up, burnt, dry, and hard bread 98 percent of the time. Editing my review because the company commented and I can't seem to see how to reply directly to the comment. I have lunch everyday at 1230-1pm it's similar experience at lunchtime. I'm never there after 2pm. Also food is overpriced. Can get a entire meal and drink at BK or McDonald's for less then you pay at Roy's. Is it healthier probably about the same. In my opinion the portion for the price is outrageous. Especially breakfast bar. Im talking 7 bucks for three chicken tenders no drink and fries lol. You lost the positivity of convenients when everything price wise is discouraging. The staff is wonderful! just prices make it no longer my stop for lunch anymore, can go to olsons or true North...

The place is a rip off. I have spent nearly $2700 since September and have had nothing but trouble with the service dept. The staff seem very nice at face value, but they have messed up anything that I have needed done. Will never buy a piece of equipment or have anything repaired there again. I asked to talk with the owner twice and was told he is not available. Too bad!

I did as Roy asked and called the store. I gave my name and number to the clerk. That was over a week ago. No return call from ROY! I don't know why he wanted me to call with my info as they have it all right there on their computers. They ripped me off for over $100.00 for a repair of my snowblower and missing parts for the Lawn Sweeper. I really wish Roy would call me and discuss this matter as I hate to keep putting my thoughts in this forum.
