This review is for the range, not the golfing course. The range is a different section than the course. $10 for a large bucket. $4 for a beer. Snack & beverage options. Nice helpful man working counter. Two sides for range hitting options (over head roof/ shaded side , or no roof/ sun side). I posted pictures to help out the business because there were no pictures posted for this area on Google maps. After our first visit, the over head roof side was designated for people wanting to hit on the grass where the rope was placed in the sun about 15 feet infront if the shaded side. By doing this they eliminated the option of enjoying the range in the shade instead of in the direct sunlight. During the summer it's nice to be able to hit it in the shade when it's 80-90°+ out. For kids, for older folks, for anyone. It's a bit confusing why the employees, or anyone for that matter, would put the rope for hitting out on the range side with the shade option instead of putting it on the other side that has no rooftop so therefore you'd already be hitting in the sun. We have returned about five different times and it's set up the exact same way every single day. We enjoyed our first visit very much. I had even given five stars on my first review raving how great this place was and posted pictures. There were more people on the shaded side than the sunny side on our first visit so clearly we're not the only ones who enjoyed the shaded side. So unfortunately we will be going to other golfing ranges...
Read moreThis is a beautiful course, and a great driving range, but I've decided that I can't come back. I signed up online for a walking tee time. As soon as I got there, the man at the front desk aggressively pressured me into paying for a cart because everyone in my group was taking a cart and they didn't want pace of play slowed down. I'm a fast walker, but I was so caught off guard and honestly a bit intimidated that I agreed to pay for a cart. I was absolutely livid when I got out there and saw that a man in my group was walking. Clearly they didn't think he would be a slow player, but I would be. Maybe because I'm a woman, or maybe because I only have a half set of clubs, who knows. Either way, the front desk person lied to squeeze money out of me. They said I didn't have to take a cart for the back nine and they refunded me half the cart fee, but they should have refunded the cart fee for the entire round given that they strong armed me into it under false pretenses.
Be prepared to assert yourself if you do decide to go here. Personally, I play golf to relax and I'm not gonna deal with stressful interactions like that during my...
Read moreI absolutely love playing this course! The staff are great also. The ranger was a great guy too.... but like 99% of rangers, not at his job....The only problem with playing this course, is the pace of play. Unfortunately, this is a huge problem that ruins your round, day and experience. I ultimately had to say something today to a ranger passing by. I was in the third group backed up on a back nine par 3. With the 4th group quickly approaching. I explained how horrible and slow the two groups in front of us were. He watched all four guys in front of me tee off. Not one hit the ball over 30 yards. The ranger and I watched one guy hit his fourth into the water. He dropped five and hit 6 from about 120 out into the par three. He had to have finished with a 15, twenty minutes later. I explained to the ranger how my whole round has been like this. Ultimately, nothing...
