Anytime Fitness — Local services in East Lyme

I have known Axel and Lynnea for a long time and they are some of the nicest and most positive people you will meet. I will never forget the first day I walked into Anytime. My child had a soccer game down the road and we had forgotten a water bottle. There aren't many convenience stores in the area but I remembered AF was there. I walked in and was greeted warmly, and despite not being a member, was treated with kindness and respect. Axel pointed me to the fitness beverage machine and wished us luck at our game.

They run a clean gym with a very positive atmosphere. They are very customer service focused and responsive to issues. They have a family themselves and understand the time constraints and pressures families face. They encourage families to work out together and are just all around great people.

Anytime Fitness Niantic is a top notch fitness center. Since joining, I have been able to develop a healthy lifestyle and significantly improve my fitness level. The facility is excellent. The equipment is of high quality and despite the limited amount, it is rare to have to wait for a machine to become available. Club management takes cleanliness very seriously and it shows. For people who don't want to just do their own thing when working out, there are many experienced trainers to work with and some great group classes to take. People of all ages and fitness levels workout together, following their own individualized programs. More than anything else, Axel, Lynnea and the team at Anytime Fitness promote an extremely positive environment, making all members feel comfortable. Axel and Lynnea Mahlke run a great gym! I would never think of going anywhere else. Their gym is one the great customer experiences in Southeastern Connecticut. It is the sort of place that goes above and beyond in every way to help people reach their goals. I have been a member since they opened and it never ceases to amaze me how much time and effort is put into the club to keep the equipment running just as well as if it was on the first day they opened their doors. The space is well lit, sparklingly clean ALL of the time and pretty much from 9 - 8 is staffed with great people who are very approachable whenever I need help. The gym is a complete no-attitude zone of friendly staff with members of all ages attending the gym and working at their health goals. Niantic/ East Lyme has a half dozen gyms now, but I wouldn't think about going...
