7 Food Mart & Tortilleria — Local services in East Naples

While I loved this place as I often purchased large quantities for my Job for meetings, celebrations, and other events, i will no longer spend my money here. My latest visit left the worst taste in my mouth. I had forgotten my bag that contained a plate of rice, i quickly returned to the establishment to get the rice. My initial thought was to just ask at the front counter if anyone had brought up a bag of rice. I was met by an older woman who I assume owns the place. As i asked her she was immediately disrespectful and rude. I told her multiple times i was not looking to get a refund or replacement i just wanted to know if someone turned in my food. After calling another cashier over to prove further that i placed an order she told me multiple times that i had not purchased or paid for the rice. After not getting anywhere with her i walked to the back to see the cook and see if anyone turned in my food. He was holding my bag! He said he tried to catch me on my way out but i had left. He was very sweet as well as the cashier Anita. They have the sweetest employees, too bad it didnt rub off on her. off Santa Barbara the new store. NOT a place for white people!!! me and my daughter stopped in for some Tacos by the looks the workers gave us '' like you don't belong hear'' not friendly at all. so we ordered anyway just to try the food. so it looked good. the outer edge you could tell WAS OLD AND DRY!! the rest looked moist so our lady giving us the look like you don't belong hear scooped the fresh food out of the way then gave us all the OLD DRIED OUT FOOD hard as jerky!! and trust me she went out of her way to make sure I got nasty food. the next customer a Mexican got served from the middle. and NO ONE SPEAKS ENGLISH in the store and they speak to you in Spanish This is America we speak ENGLISH in the USA!!!! . Absolutely great little place to shop and a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Fantastic selection of fresh fruit and vegetables with fish and great butcher. You cant go wrong if you're interested in Latin and Caribbean selections. Further in the back of the store is freshly made selections already prepared for take out. The tacos are incredible and on Monday and Wednesday are $1.50 a piece. Imagine 3 tacos heavily laiden with the meats of your selection for under $5.00. A great deal. If you cant locate something the store manager will attempt to locate and find what you're looking for. Very helpful staff. Clean premises and fair prices. I can highly recommend this location.
