... I didn't personally buy anything so I'm not sure how their Customer Service is but I was impressed when I walked in how it was decorated, every section was labeled and products stocked! I honestly was shocked when I seen a Firearms Area they had MANY choices to choose from I couldn't believe they actually sold firearms in there.
They have Public Restroom in the back of the store where they sell their chainsaws and mowers and stuff like that which when you walk in there you won't believe your eyes they have wild game hanging on the walls my daughter thought that was pretty crazy and cool it's honestly beautiful with the wood trim and all that its pretty crazy looking...
They also have a pretty HUGE lawn & garden care section along with a section just for bird houses and bird feed and hummingbird food, also through that section there is a door that goes outside where they have all their plant pots, hanging plant rods, tomato cages, fencing, etc. Since we just went not too long ago they had sleds also since it's still winter time...
They also have a grill section where they have a wall of crazy spices and sauces that I have honestly NEVER even heard of but they looked really really cool one was stored in a gernade looking jar it was pretty different but they looked pretty good!
They also have a little novelty section where they have beautiful hanging pictures and nick-nacks you can buy, I forget the brand of them but they sell the same brand in the Pharmacy that I use and the things they have here I have NEVER even seen it was pretty uniquely awesome! There prices on things,, ehh... They seemed like anywhere else... Not too expensive then...
Read moreI purchased a used Stihl MS660 from a friend knowing that it had carb problems. Took to Cameron's to get it fixed. Was told what I knew, the carb was bad along with a couple other minor things. Had them fix it. After a couple weeks, I went to pick it up, brought it home, ran it for 3 in a hours in a single day and it stopped working. Took it back to Cameron's had them look at it. Told me that my carb was bad. I then informed them that they had just replaced it a few days earlier. They replaced the new carb with another (this time on warranty). I took it home, used it for a single tank of gas and...…….. yep, stopped working. Again. At this point I was frustrated and just used another saw to finish doing what I needed. Fast forward about a year and got tired of seeing this thing sitting in the barn useless so I took it to a different shop. They told me that the motor was bad because of the way that the carb was installed. One screw was completely missing, another was too tight, another too loose. The new shop claimed that the install of the carb was absolutely the reason for the bad motor. I called Cameron's and explained to them the situation and they, of course, said it was out of warranty but if they were to do anything about, they would have to have their mechanic look at it first for a fee. The same mechanic that was responsible for installing the carb incorrectly and killing this expensive piece of equipment. If you value your equipment, don't have it...
Read moreCameron's is a great local family owned store. It's a rare occasion they don't have what I'm looking for, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful.
They have a wide selection of your normal hardware and tool needs as well as a huge aread dedicated to grilling and smoking food with all the hot sauces and smoker chips and pellets you could ask for.
Their garden section is big with an assortment of tools, supplies, seeds, and live plants. This includes a large variety of bird feeder and feed options.
They also have an impressive power equipment area that houses their Stihl showroom. This has been a one-stop shop for me to cover the vast majority of my power equipment maintenance needs from chainsaws to trimmers to my riding mower. They also have in-house chainsaw chain sharpening and repair of power equipment. As well as a pretty good variety of rental options for more specialty power equipment.
Another big plus is the firearms counter in the store. Whether you have questions about firearms, ammunition, and accessories, or PA hunting and trapping licenses, they are there to help. With the 23-24 deer tag rule changes, you will be able to purchase tags...
