We started off at a parking lot where the tour company operated out of and we took a van to where we started our trip. Shawn was the best guide ever! I really enjoyed the tour he gave us through the river. He was very informative, friendly, laid back, and very easy to chat with. It was nice to travel in a smaller group compared to the other rafting tours I saw that were riding along. Shawn really took the time to show us around the river compared to the other tours that seemed like they were always in a bit of a hurry, I really felt as though he was really taking his time in letting us take all the scenery in without rushing us. Another great plus about this tour was that towards the end of our trail i noticed that most other touring companies were finished earlier than we did and were dropped off earlier on the trail while we still had about 2 miles left before we finished which was great because I still wasn't ready to end my trip! There were also some opportunities that this tour allowed to do that other places did not allow there group to do like rock jumping and allowing us to take photos on a huge rock towards the end of the trail. Towards the end of the trip we ended up back to where the we parked our cars and where the tour guide operated from which was really nice because we did not have to sit on a bus soaking wet to a parking lot waiting to change, we dropped off all the rafting gear and walked happily back to our cars and changed clothes in the convenient dressing tents they had set up for us!

Overall I had my doubts about this tour due to reading some of the lower ratings that they have on some websites, but please take it from someone who has experienced it first hand at how nice of a tour this company actually provides. I hope this reviews catches the eye of other people looking for a nice way to spend an afternoon. And Shawn if you are reading this you were the best man, I really appreciate the time and effort you did at providing us with one of the best experiences my group and I had this entire summer! I booked a last minute trip for my fiancés birthday from upstate NY. This morning as we put the directions from our hotel in PA which was 45 minutes away from Extreme adventure… torrential down pouring rain, thunder, and lighting started. It was dangerous on the roads. We couldn’t even see Infront if us.

I called the business to talk to someone about whether or not the white water rafting was still going to happen at noon. The man who picked up responded to me telling him about the dangerous driving conditions with “it’s not lighting here.” He then said that he would not provide any type of refund. I then asked if we could reschedule to another day when the roads and weather conditions were safer… he said that we could not.

We proceeded to try and drive to this venue and within 5 minutes.. torrential down pour started and we could not see Infront of us. We ended up hitting a median in the middle of the road because there was no visibility to see the lanes…with 3 feet of vision Infront of us.

We called obviously upset, got hung up after being put on hold the 2nd time.

I’ve never experienced the greediness of a business who didn’t care about the well being of customers who paid for this trip.

Terrible. Very disorganized when we arrived. The trip was less than two hours when it was advertised as 3-4. One of our tubes began to deflate when we were only a third of the way down the river. When we got to the pick up place we had to wait about 15 minutes for someone to get there with a van. After waiting the 15 minutes we had to sit in the van and wait while the driver deflated EVERY tube for our 7 person group and the couple who had also gone tubing. So that added an additional 20 minutes. Once the tubes were all deflated and shoved in the van we went back to the original parking lot where our vehicle was located. That’s when it really got bad. THEY LOST OUR KEYS. Our driver who I suppose was also a manger, attempted to make several phone calls to the driver who apparently had our keys. He didn’t answer. She never apologized for our inconvenience and never acted like this was their fault at all. When we asked for a refund or any type of discount for this huge inconvenience she flat out refused. We waited close to 45 minutes for them to find our keys. This is unacceptable. Go...
