I came here with my husband and 3 young children and had an extremely negative experience. My husband and I had a talk with our children prior to coming to be respectful and not touch anything breakable since most items in the store are old and valuable. We kept our children near us the whole time and made sure they were very respectful and gentle with everything they touched. Not once were they disrespectful or mishandle anything inside the store. At one point my daughter was gently playing keys on an old, small organ that was plugged in and turned on to display that it works. Suddenly, a women quickly and hostilely comes right up to my daughter and, with a very rude tone, tells her to not play with it, it's not a toy. She then proceeds to unplug the small organ. It took me a second to process her aggressive behavior towards my young daughter who in no way was handling the organ as a toy or in a way to cause it damage. After the initial shock, I then told the woman, who we thought was an employee, that she could have handled that nicer. She snapped back, "I was very nice, thank you" and kept on walking. I told her she was not and she doubled down and gave all kinds of excuses for her nasty behavior. After that experience, we decided to leave. We were kindly approached by a different woman (an employee) who overheard the conversation, apologized to us about what happened and informed us that the woman was not an employee, but a vendor. We were having such a pleasant time as a family finding unique items to buy until it was ruined by a rude vendor. Unfortunately, we wont' be...
Read moreMy daughter and I were in a booth looking around. A tractor had falling behind my daughter and I. I put the tractor back on the candy machine and seen that the wheel had broke off. At that point I should of taken the tractor to the front but was greated with a guy who took it up front. I could tell I was going to have an issue. I asked my daughter if she knocked it down by chance and she said no. My daughter is 9 I took her word for it .
I walked up front and the guy told me he would call the booth owner and I should pay 10 percent of the tractor. I told him I wasn't paying anything my daughter didn't knock it down. Booth owner showed up said that was fine. The guy would not drop it and had the audacity to ask my 9 year old daughter if she was lying. Then said well how did it drop if she didn't do it.
I was now screaming at this 60 year old man. The booth owner telling him to drop it. All of this over a $24 ish tractor that was previously broken. The tire was glued before.
The lady behind the counter did nothing I'm not sure why she didn't kick him out maybe she's his wife. That I dont know. When I went to leave he said did you hear that? She admitted she broke it. I sell antiques and have always loved this place but I will never let a man speak to me or my daughter like that. Both of my kids always enjoyed finding jewelry or WWE figures and now that's ruined all over an experience with...
Read moreWide variety of items, huge store, something for everyone. Most items are over priced, things you can find at almost every garage sale for free being sold for 20+ dollars. Rude staff rolled their eyes and audibly sighed when my 10 month old baby cried for just a few seconds. We were over charged for an item, just a small plush toy for my daughter. I pointed out the mistake and they asked for payment, not a large enough differenceto make a fuss, but it is the principle that you honor your prices listed. Smells dirty and dusty, the store badly needs cleaned. Staff are sitting around so I'm unsure why they do not require such minimal work from their employees. Will not be returning. It is clear to see why they are going out...
