Best Pawn Shop — Local services in East Riverdale

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this pawnshop, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff specifically MS T was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making me feel welcome and at ease right away.

This is the most piss-poor pawn shop in the area. The 'manager', the one with the girly grey ponytail, is a liar. He offers less than 12% on the lowest price he can find on Amazon, even if the items he finds online and what you bring him are not the same thing. Every where else will give 30-33% eBay/Amazon pricing. This is the only time I have walked away angry from this kind of transaction. I will NEVER be back to this place again. I had heard that they are dishonest, but this was worse than my expectations. I brought a $100 camera, $60 on eBay and he offered $5. I took it to another shop and got $40. He tried to tell me the camera was 12 years old, despite the fact that the sticker with the serial number clearly said it was less than a year old. He said the serial number was wrong and that the camera was from 2005, even though that camera wasn't available until 2016. When confronted with this evidence, he jumbled his words and all but told me to get out....

This is the worst pawnshop I have ever been to. The man with the grey hair acts like you are a loser foro even being in the store, and breaks you down and tries to basically take whatever you are selling for five to ten dollars no matter what it is. I tried to sell a Makita reciprocating saw that somebody gave me that was brand new and not even opened for half of the eBay price, he went off of a damaged used model that was being sold as is for parts and repair on eBay to base the price and then said "we go for about 25% on power tools, I can give you about 7$ for it but I don't even want to take it so I am doing you a favor." What a joke. I took the saw and walked out because he was just trying to scam me. The pawn shop in Annapolis on west street is much better and will actually give you a fair price for what you are selling. These people use intimidation tactics and dirty lies to try to basically just steal your stuff from you. Highly NOT...
