Snyders Farmstand — Local services in East Rockhill

Parking was great, the stand was busy, all the produce showing was beautiful. We picked out a lot of wonderful, delicious items, but when we got them immediately home, they weren't as good as they'd looked at the stand. People, make sure you look thru the baskets, pints, bushels, half pecks, etc. See what is underneath the gorgeous stuff on top. We had to toss at least half of the peaches and tomatoes. The sugar cube cantaloupe smelled sweet when it was picked out, but not so sweet when we ate it. Again, right away. Surprisingly, the candy onion was the star of the show. No tears...

Picked up some peaches, which were amazing, along with tomatoes and corn. The tomatoes were very good and the corn was fresh and crisp. The prices were very fair. I loved that I could ask a question about the veggies and fruit and actually get an answer - how to pick a ripe cantaloupe. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They also take the farmers market vouchers for those who have them. Plenty of parking too - right off 313. I will be back. Remember to shop local because the money...

Purchased peaches at this stand a couple of years ago and they were excellent so I went out of my way to drive by the stand today today. However, this time they were mealy and inferior to supermarket peaches but at a premium price. It's too far to drive to return them so I will just take the loss and...
