Claim they will cut prime steaks to order:

You first explain what you want (me - 5 prime filets 1 1/2 inches thick) to a guy who acts like he has never cut steaks before. You are then passed to a second guy to explain all over again.

You see zero meat until cut...hidden in back somewhere. .one NY strip in case only.

They bring out two filets to show me. Flabby and separated. No marbling whatsoever. They say oh you have to get prime for that...we don't sell it only...

I was skeptical at first as I thought I was pulling into something different, but once in the butcher's shoppe I was greeted with 5 star service, We wanted kabobs for grilling and they cut the meat to the perfect size. They actually care not only about the quality of the service, but the product itself. Dont get me wrong I like Arnold's as well, but it feels like more of a supermarket as opposed to a local neighbor like experience. Again 5 stars...

If you live within driving distance of this place, and you aren't buying your meat here, you are doing yourself and everyone you feed a tremendous disservice. This is a legitimate "old school" Butcher shope that does things right. USDA Prime meats cut to order and home made roast beef. I bought steaks for fathers day and everyone went crazy over how delicious the were. I love everything...
