Had a reservation for 10 people for their Easter Brunch at 1 PM seating. Our whole party was there by 12:45. Did not get seated until 2:10! Absolute chaos. Once seated it was another fifteen minutes before we were offered water, our complimentary drinks and missing utensils. Once drinks were brought we were told to help our selves to the buffet. This is where we quickly realized we made a mistake coming here. Food was horrible at best. Everything was cold. I’m not even talking warm. Wait I misspeak, two hot items. The green beans and Mac and cheese ( only items that looked like they had been refilled since the 9 AM seating). The roughly 10 pieces of bacon were sitting in the bottom of the try in grease. The six Egg Benedict were so old that the yokes had literally dried up! Sausage and Peppers, Chicken, “Numerous Seafood Items” which was a tray of cold dried up pieces of fish, with a couple tiny shrimp, was ice cold. Looked like this might have contained other items, but was never refilled, so who knows. Carving station had roast beef, ham and invisible lamb. These also were cold, not even warm. Table with mixed salads did have plenty of some items. The issue here was nothing was on ice. So these appeared to have been out since beginning of the day and at room temp. The final straw was the deserts. The menu listed all kinds of things. Pies, Muffins,Pastries, etc. and their famous cheesecake! Well we had three choices left. Chocolate cake, lemon cake and Death by Chocolate desert. Not one piece of any pie or a crumb of cheese cake. After the cost of the Buffett, mandatory added gratuity and tax, it came out to a little less then $170 a couple. $850 dollars for the table of ten!! A complete rip-off. It was obvious they over booked, where not prepared for the number of people and no one in a position of authority was around to talk to. Before writing this review I looked on their website for a contact number or email of someone I could communicate with about our experience. Well that doesn’t exist either. Phone number to make reservation and email form to take your info if you want to be contacted about holding an event there. Do yourself a favor. Go...

We went for Sunday brunch and overall, the food was good. Some of the food lent itself better to the warming trays, and unfortunately the eggs bennedict wasn't one of them. I really enjoyed the clam chowder, and the carving station was good, too. The price (and something that irked me) is what drops my rating down. All in all, it was $60 for two people before tip. I hate to say it, but I actually didn't tip because of something this restaurant did which is a pet peeve of mine: Obligatory gratuity. The restaurant takes it upon themselves to add an 18% gratuity to the check. As a rule, I think it's up to the customer to determine how good they think the service was, and to reflect this in the gratuity they leave. The Sunday brunch here, being a buffet where you serve yourself, I REALLY think it should be up to the customer to determine the gratuity they leave. If a restaurant wants to "bake in" the gratuity into the price, that's fine. Just include the gratuity you want in the price, don't add it as a fee. That way there are no surprises. It really annoys me when there is a forced gratuity because it just feels like I'm being swindled. If it were $40 or under for 2 people, and there were no forced tip, the score would...

Visited for the first time given the great reviews. Unfortunately the food was a disappointment. Unsure if it was because New years eve, if they were too busy or not. Lobster bisque was very fishy arrived late and with our entree. Ordered NY strip steak and arrived rare and cold vs the requested Medium , veggies were supposed to be a mixed of broccoli, carrots and green beans as other reviews have shown, and got green beans with what it looked to be the bottom left from broccoli, no carrots. second round they cooked the steak to Medium and when I tried it was tasteless as if it was cooked with nothing. Had to return the meal. The waiter was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience and took the meal off the bill, offered free dessert but at that point we just wanted to go home and declined. Husband had fish and it was not the best. Overall we went very excited and left disappointed and hungry on New year’s eve. However, we had door-dash their pastas and it has been amazing food so we think something must of happened tonight that the food was not good. We will give the restaurant another try another day and will update...

Perfect Sunday brunch! From the basics to the unexpected this buffet was amazing. All the breakfast items were available bacon eggs French toast home fries... I enjoyed the made-to-order omelettes. There was a beautiful assortment of salads from traditional to a pumped-up caprese and a cabbage and carrot salad...don't get me started on the assortment of pasta salads. The carving station offered three selections of freshly carved meats, ham, roast beef and lamb. Now let's talk desserts... Cheesecake pastries a chocolate pudding dessert assorted cakes and pies... I chose the red velvet, fitting with Valentine's celebration. The service was welcoming and attentive. The wait staff was quick to refill our coffee and remove our plates checking infrequently to see if we need anything. Chef's at carving station and omelette bar were friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back.

Linnea and I just got married there on April 12. This place is amazing. We had our ceremony and reception here. The food was spot on. The staff were amazing, they attended to everyone's needs and took special care of my mom who's nearing 84 years old. The ambiance was perfect for our very special day. Natural light abounds with windows from many sides. We had eaten here many times for dinner and brunch and we're never disappointed. The private room for the bride was perfect. The venue made our special day perfect from A to Z. A shout out to Brian and Barbara from the Nutmeg who made the day just that extra special.

Exceptional food and very attentive staff. The menu included many options for people with varied tastes. I enjoyed the crab cakes, steak, and lobster. I went some friends who regularly visit and the staff all recognized them and clearly appreciated their repeat business. It was perhaps the best service experience I've had from a locally owned restaurant. I found that the restaurant was a little empty today, and I hope reviews like mine can bring the community attention to this gem. I hope they continue to succeed and thrive in the area!
