J & L Amish Depot — Local services in Eastampton Township

I bought a shed 10 years ago ! It was supposed to be pressure treated flooring it was not ,the doors are sagging ,the roof is falling literally apart. The T 1- 11 Plywood siding is deteriorating bad. I bought a Shed from the Lantz Clan right from Middlesex PA 30 years ago looks as good as the day I bought it. I really thought they would stand behind their products, apparently they have gotten to big to fulfill every ones needs. Now I didn't wait 10 years and contact them, I let them know after 2 years after owning it the doors were sagging Jacob said he would have some one look at it no one ever came out . When I confronted them about that they said the were here .I have a video surveillance camera system I would know if they were here. I went to there new location they looked at the pictures I had taken don't really remember who the young man was but I asked for Jacob the elder of the group he was never available. Now in this time frame I developed a very serious illness and couldn't take it anymore so I kind of threw in the towel. So when my wife went in there the other day the door actually came off the hinge because of very poor materials. So I hate to say it but I would not recommend. I called to speak to Jacob several times last week left a message and not one returned call. I called Friday to talk to Chris and he asked me to email pictures to them but the shed is10 years old I doubt there is anything they could do.But again I reached out about my initial problem was within 2 years. We bought many things from the Amish Market at Columbus and continue to shop at the food market every week always good. I am highly surprised this happened, because of the pride and integrity these folks usually have in there products but if getting sick for the last 8 years and falling back on staying on top of this I'm guilty but I physically couldn't do it .They had moved 2 times since this purchase and have become a very large company and I believe since the time of my purchase I guess a phone call doesn't do it. So I give this lengthy review because it is exactly what happened....

Made a purchase in March 2021 for planned construction in June, due to delays and backups from J&L. I was ok to be patient and continued to call and check on estimated build times as I have personal and professional commitments that require advanced coordination. In being as responsible as possible, I called once a month for updates on lead time and build dates and was continuously told June 1 at the earliest. On May 7th, I received a call from Jay who asked if we could push up to May 18th. Unfortunately, I was unable to make that work and confirmed back. Jay and I discussed June 1 and he confirmed to me during the discussion. This was around May 10th. Here it is June 1 and no one is here for the build, I have not received any phone calls or email communications about delays in the project. This now sets in motion significant setbacks where other folks who are working on projects will have to be re-coordinated, and it may be additional months before they can get back here -- costing me time, money and unable to complete a project I have been planning for months. This place is absolutely a horrible run business. They don't care about there customers at all. They delivered a shed to my house and my children's little play house that we ordered and placed them in a spot on the opposite side of my yard that we wanted them to be. They said they would come back to move them for us. A month later the delivery guy said that he came to our house and we weren't there. I specifically took off of work this day and stayed home the whole day waiting for them never showed up. He lied and told the owner that he came and no one was home. I have a ring video doorbell that records everything. They are liars and when I called the owner he told me I was lieing and was not sending his worker back out to move the sheds because his worker don't want to. Almost a year has passed and my children's play house and the shed are still in the middle of my yard. They really should not be in business the way they treat there customers. Beware this company I would go somewhere else...
