Update 4/20/2018: I spoke with one of the managers, Rob and he apologized for the experience that I had and assured me that it would not be a regular occurrence and that they value my company's business.
The woman that answers the phone, Kris (sp?) is exceptionally rude. I called to request a recycling pickup several days ago and made the mistake of calling it a "dumpster" instead of a "trailer". She actually had the audacity to send an e-mail to my other rep that normally does the requests telling her that they wouldn't be coming because we don't have a dumpster at our office location!! Umm, hello. I don't work for your company, I have no idea what you call your receptacles. But you can look at my account in your system and determine what I need based on whatever you see. Do you really need to make life that difficult for your customers? And have a nasty attitude...
Read moreAfter the recent passing of my loved one, I was faced with the overwhelming task of getting rid of his vehicle. Kris at Allied Recycling went above and beyond, not just in providing excellent service, but in treating me with genuine kindness and respect during an incredibly emotional time. They made an extremely difficult process so much easier, offering not just a service, but support that felt personal and sincere. It’s rare to find a business that handles things with both efficiency and heart, but that’s exactly what Kris and Allied Recycling did. I’m deeply grateful for their help and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone in need of reliable, compassionate recycling services. Thank you for being there when it...

On the second trip, a load three times larger, but still the same material, I was given $0.13 per pound. Allied claims that this second unload was "dirty" aluminum compared to the first unload. I informed the cashier that I was just here earlier with the same material, and that I was given $0.45 per pound. How could this load be three times heavier, yet $48 less than the first load? This is a shady business practice that was done in order to save the business money at the customer's expense. Thankfully, I will never have to return here, but unfortunately for today, it cost the...
