She has absolutely no respect for what the customer wants, and has the audacity to believe her way was the right way even with a visibly upset client.

I went there asking for a short trim. I have an issue with pulling my hair, causing some breakage underneath the top layer. I only wanted a short trim to make the unevenness on the outside less noticeable - the shortest parts underneath my hair aren't really visible.

I didn't have my glasses on during the appointment, so when she said she would be fixing the uneven slant at the outer layer of my hair, I had no idea she would be taking the shortest piece under my hair and cutting everything to that length. When I put my glasses back on, I was overwhelmed.

Instead of a trim, she cut nearly a foot off!!!!!!!

My hair has always been a large part of my identity, and I no longer felt like me. I was visibly upset with a red and puffy face, yet she ignored this. It came as no surprise she never actually asked if I liked the haircut, since I'm sure the answer would have been obvious.

My mom picked me up from the appointment, and with one look at me, she knew what was wrong. She knows very well how important my hair is to me. No longer able to hold in tears, I started freaking out about how much I hated the haircut, and rushed to the car to avoid making that much of a scene.

Meanwhile, the hairdresser accused my mom of being the reason I didn't like the haircut. She said it didn't matter if it wasn't what I wanted - she couldn't let me leave with any breakage underneath (where it wasn't even visible) since that would reflect bad on her image....
