Read the full review below, but my advice would be to wear clothes you don't mind getting ruined **
We hosted my son's 10th birthday party here at the end of October. We were SO pleased with the Pint-sized paintball mega birthday package and would highly recommend it. We had a designated table where I set up a themed table cloth, plates, etc. We were provided with 5 pizzas (enough for all the boys plus the parents to eat), bottled water, and a cupcake cake (half vanilla, half chocolate). We had 8 boys, ages 8-10, none of whom had ever played paintball before. We had two designated referees/party hosts who walked the kids through a safety briefing and taught them the rules and how to use the blasters. They were given chest pads and face masks, with the option of gloves if they wanted them. After watching the boys play, the parents wanted to join in too - this was not an extra fee, it just used up our prepaid paintballs. In total, the boys did 4 rounds of paintball, plus a 5th round with the adults without buying extra paint (we could have stayed longer if we wanted to buy more, but it was perfect timing that our supply ran out at the 2.5hr party time ending). They played on three different courses, including in the woods and in the field with placed obstacles (old boats, large water containers, etc). The only downside was that the paint, which we were told washes out, did stain my husband's black hoodie. Not the end of the world, but I would advise that you wear clothes that you don't mind getting ruined just in case. All of the kids said it was the best birthday party ever and they can't wait to...
Read moreSix-seven years of paintball under my belt and I was just recently told about this hidden gem. I'd go as far as to say this is my new favorite field within the area.
The prices are extremely reasonable for what you get and, compared to other fields (of lesser quality), this is a bargain of the century. The paint quality is almost always good, even during COVID shortages. But even at that time, the field owner personally traded a case of paint with me.
Every employee there will treat you and accommodate you like you're human, not like a customer. They're diverse in background and experience levels, personable yet professional, and just a great crew.
The owner, Mike, is a godsend and restores my faith in field owners as a whole. He's one of the (unfortunately now) rare cases where the customer takes priority over profit. Which is saying a lot given paintball's current popularity ranking. It's hard to run a field and I don't know the half of it. And yet, you're family there.
I have full faith that every time I come here is going to be a good experience through and through. No experience players dunking on new players, no condescending or power-hungry refs, no shenanigans. Pure, raw fun for people of all ages. If you're going to spend your money anywhere for paintball,...
Read moreWe have had season passes for two years now. The referees work hard to make sure players get plenty of games in, and they do their best to watch for cheaters and make good calls. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile.
They continue to invest in the common areas, with new tables and chairs, bathrooms, and invest in new fields and bunkers/forts/cover on the the fields.
Do the referees make the wrong call sometimes? Sure, that happens everywhere - no one can see every action that happens on a field full of action - but they do work hard to make sure it's right. Do people cheat? Sure, that happens everywhere too - but they do get caught here and the staff does deal with them. Cheaters are the lowest form of paintball, but that's not a reflection on the staff or the facility. Is the paint more expensive than other places? Yes, a bit - but they donate a lot to charity, they invest in their facilities, and the cost of rental equipment, air fills, concessions, and gear are quite reasonable. I don't mind paying a little extra for paint knowing it goes to a good cause.
We love coming here, it is our home base for paintball. We will continue to purchase season passes and keep coming...
