Always something going on, however, the last Hospice gig and trying to get in just to drop people off was a true pain. There were young people dressed in fatigues telling us we were only allowed to go where they pointed. The parking was a bit of a mess, specially in the handicap area where there where cars parked too close and you could not get out after you got in. Dropping people off should have been a lot easier and most of us know where we are going for vendor areas and what not. Lets not make it so...
Read moreFinally I was able to attend a Hospice Auction at the Solanco Fairgrounds. I have a friend whose family has been involved in organizing the food concession stands for years. The chicken Bar B Que dinners were tasty, The fresh baked and filled donuts - delicious - irresistible. I also enjoyed my smoothy: made of peaches, blueberries and mangos!! Read moreA fun family even every time. With busy schedules and tight budgets it can be hard to find affordable things to do, so fair season is always a blessing. I love the Solanco fair particularly because the food is delicious, so I don't have to cook dinner. Aslo seeing all the animals tuckers out my two year old so it makes for a good night. What sets the Solanco fair apart in my opinion is the milk jug race...it's exactly what it sounds like and worth...
