Amazing Catering! We recently found out the old edgefield butcher shop started catering. We were having a baby reveal for about thirty people. Went in and talked to Eric. He was knowledgeable and helped us plan our food preferences. We ordered pulled pork Halved chickens Smoked sausage Baked beans & Mac n cheese We had the option to pick up our order or they would come set up and serve. We decided we would pick up. When we arrived Eric had our order ready to pick up at the scheduled time. It was hot and packaged to travel. The food was amazing! The chicken was so moist and tender it practically fell off the bone.The pulled pork had a mustard bbq sauce base and was some of the best tasting melt in your mouth pork around. You could taste the time put into that slow cooked goodness. The smoked sausage was bun ready with a light hint of smoke, ready to eat alone or with your favorite fixings. Baked beans had a tinge of tangy and were deep brown slow cooked with bacon pieces. Mac n cheese was so light and creamy piled with cheese cheese cheese. My family and friends raved over the food. The prices were refreshing compared to several other quotes we got for the same dishes. We cannot say enough about the service and quality of the food we received! Eric mentioned they were planning to add wings to the catering menu! Hello football season!! My family and I regularly shops here... The quality of the food is awesome, fresh, and with variety of cuts. The service is quick, clean and friendly. The prices are reasonable, And they always have bundle deals. I would normally rate this place a 4 out of 5, or a plan 5. Recently I had a issue with my order, The manager was very nice and quickly fixed it. After that issue there's been one lady that seems to be a supervisor/boss, She has been harassing me ever since. She stares me down and talks to me very condescending. She overly invites herself to take my order, when I rather not Have any business association with her. I just want my food and leave. I was there Saturday and she followed me around the store and stared at me down like I was going to steal something from behind the glass. I think she is motivated by First ever complaint that was corrected by her boss. I do not know her name but she is a very thin Caucasian lady With a pointy nose. She is a brunette, She is not friendly she's condescending and it seems that she's trolling me, which makes my shopping experience hostile. This is my experience, I just wanna let everyone know please do not make a complaint because this lady will make your experience their horrible. I cannot express the amazingness! of the quality of meat that I purchased from Ole Edgefield Butcher Shop. For a wedding, I purchased 125 pork chops, 125 chicken breasts (both cut a little thicker than an inch) and 10 packs of smoked turkey meat. Honey, I took them pork chops and chickens breasts home, stuffed them bad boys with some sautéed onions and peppers and sausage! Froz'm for about a week for marination! Took them jants out to let them unthaw! Them bad boys was seared on both top and bottom, and all the sides!!! then put in the oven to slow cook!!! Honey (Hand on my forehead!)!!! My expectations was for my meats to be good! Good is not a good enough word!

I am so thankful for this butcher shop because I was not sold, "Just any" type of meats! My meats were NOT cut sloppy, they WERE NOT extra fatty (some fat had to be removed, but that's to be expected). EVERY piece of meat WAS pretty and pink. It DID NOT smell!!! My order WAS packaged appropriately. The customer service that I was given WAS full of gratitude, appreciation and respect. I will not go anywhere else. Thank you, Ole Edgefield Butcher Shop!
