OK, so I got this brilliant idea to enclose my rear patio. I have never done anything of this magnitude. Three 8' long windows and a french door along with building in the areas between the pillars. Not a complete novice but never anything like this. Well these people know their stuff. They were far beyond helpful. I mean giving me play by play instructions and alerting me to pitfalls. Made sure I had the right materials and deliver was fantastic. I can't say enough good things about this place. Yup, you can go to the big box store and ask "Melvin" behind hiding behind the door panels, but guess what, he doesn't really know any more than you do. Let these helpful people guide and the best part is "the prices are very reasonable." A big shout out to the delivery people. They are great guys and super friendly. If you didn't go to Hobbs, you probably will be paying more and doing it wrong. Head to the back desk and ask those guys, "they get it". ...

I have been shopping for a lot of my lumber & hardware needs at Hobb for the past five years. I recently had a garage built and the contractor uses hobb's as his supplier. I had the opportunity to work with Andy and his staff and have been completely satisfied. You may save a couple dollars on some commodity items at some of the big box stores, but the help at the big box stores is terrible. The help at Hobb in Edinboro is very good.don't let the size of the place full you the selection is fantastic.do yourself a favor and give them a try. Rented from them a few times. This last time rented a mud mixer. It didn’t work well. The auger had warn through the sides and they had duct taped over the holes. I was supposed to get the holiday rate and should have been charged for one day rental and was charged for two days. They said they would fix...
