Best Foods Inc. — Local services in Edison

All this while, during my stay here in US, I was thinking that this is the place where you get everything of best quality and there is no way of getting fooled or cheated. But I was turned wrong when I saw that some of these Indian food distributors can go to any extent (even coloring of lentils)to sell there products. I happened to buy this black lentil also known as whole Udad daal from one of the indo-american stores and when I soaked it in water, next morning it turned into Green lentil or Moong dal and the whole water turned into black colour. God knows what all chemicals they added to get this black colour. The brand name is "Deer" which is distributed by Best Foods Inc. How can somebody be so inhuman that they have no brains and hearts before adding such toxic colors which can even cost lives.....you never know......I am trying my best to reach such nonsense distributors and expose them in front of the world. I have attached the pics of so called Black lentil which actually turned out to be green lentil. I request all the readers to share this on their wall and frenz to spread the awareness. Thnx...

Wanted to update all the supporters who shared this post which shows the heights of atrociousness. ....I spoke to the procurement manager "Zafar" of Best food Inc..who owns the brand "Deer". He was surprised to hear this and was guilty for the same. He promised to enquire about it and blacklist the vendor from whom they bought this toxic lentil. I m gonna send him so called whole udad Daal thru FedEx. Would keep you guys posted. We Kohinoor brand rice from Bhavani Food in PA that has label"Marketed By: Best food Inc. 75 Midvale Rd, Edison, NJ". When opened and washed before cooking, they are 1) so dirty, and 2) had black bugs and small caterpillars" in hindi "susri and sundi" and tones of them. Look attached images. This is completely unacceptable. Interesting the bag is packed so well there does not seem to a chance for the bugs to enter the bag. I am imagining the rice are imported and re-bagged at Best Food inc. If so what kind of quality check are you really doing?? This kind of product is reportable to govt watch dog. We are so disappointed. It does not smell or taste like basmati at all but...

This company and the people are absolutely pathetic. Absolutely no shame and self respect. No wonder their reviews are so bad. They will keep calling you even when you tell them not to call. Their prices are higher than others. They Don't seems to get the message when you tell them not to call. Hey Best food people, have some self respect. Most of them can't even speak proper English. What kind of people does this company hire? Hopefully the owner of this company reads the reviews and understands what people...
