I must say I am impressed by Rachael’s ability to walk into a kitchen space and quickly reimagine the space in a very short period of time. On Rachael’s first visit to my home she reviewed my kitchen, took measurements and asked me what I envisioned for my new kitchen cabinet design. I must say I had no real vision I really needed her guidance. After our meeting, I was surprised when that evening at about 10:17 PM I received by email an initial complete redesign of my kitchen cabinet configuration. The redesign was something I could not have envisioned and it was beautiful. Over the course of a few days we discussed changes to the design and finalized the design. Rachel was available morning, noon and night, literally. She was very accommodating when it came to scheduling time to meet with me for cabinet design selection. In addition to assisting me with cabinet design for my kitchen Rachel also provided advice on vanities for two bathrooms, a storage unit and any and everything I asked for her assistance with (paint colors, flooring, cabinet handles, you name it). She was available at all times to provide her professional design knowledge on things that were not related to her specific kitchen cabinet design work.

I did not have a hall closet and was considering a coat rack, however, when I mentioned this to Rachel she instantly had an idea for a hall coat and shoe storage unit. She provided suggestions on the actual unit style and size, which was perfect. She took measurements for the unit and ordered the unit and I could not be happier with the unit. It is a beautiful unit that fits into the décor and style of my home and more than satisfies my storage needs.

Racheal was very engaged and involved in the installation of the kitchen cabinets. She was available in person and by phone anytime needed. This was crucial during the kitchen cabinet installation as the installers had a number of questions during installation. Her availability ensured that there were no mistakes and that the installation was exactly as designed.

When my husband John and I decided to do an extensive kitchen remodel, we were nervous. We knew this would be a major undertaking and the importance of finding a trustworthy and talented contractor was most important. The Heart of the Home team truly exceeded our expectations. They are a family-owned, full-service kitchen design company. They fabricated the countertops, installed custom cabinetry, installed lighting, electrical and plumbing, and completed everything on schedule. We didn’t feel like we had a builder redoing our kitchen, but a craftsman and the entire process was painless. The company genuinely takes great pride in their work and we were fortunate to work with them. We worked very closely with both business partners on the entire process. Steve Nedilsky met with us in our home to take measurements and talk about ur dream kitchen, then we met the following week in his showroom where we viewed a beautiful 3D computer program of our completed kitchen with different options and budgets. Owner, Ralph Scarola helped us choose the countertop and fabricated the quartz slab we hand picked in the yard. The team installed custom cabinetry, LED lighting, electrical and plumbing all on a schedule. They took the time in the design phase to understand our requirements and executed them during the construction phase. We didn't feel like we had a builder redoing our kitchen, but a craftsman and the the entire process was painless. We enjoyed the design phase and it was really fun seeing our home displayed on his large screen with before and after renderings. Steve and Ralph really took the time to understand what's important to us and worked that into our kitchen design and we were able to approve everything before construction. The quality of the work was excellent and there was great attention to all details in the project including adhering to the timetable, minimizing disruption in the house, and daily cleanup of the construction dust. After living with the original 1978 kitchen with faux brick and beams for the past nine years, my wife and I decided it was time to bring our kitchen up out of the 70s and into 2019. We researched contractors and received numerous estimates. After finding Heart of the Homes Kitchens and reviewing their before & after pics, we decided to make an appointment. The price was right and the advice was spot on. Once the project started it never slowed down. The team operated in sync. The project was completed earlier than projected, which was great and convenient. We ended up adding some additional work to our living room and it was no problem. Steve, Ralph and Laura were a pleasure to work with, as were the electrician and painters. Steve is a professional and a perfectionist. I’d definitely work with them again.
