SOUL N SIDES BBQ — Local services in El Centro

My friend Pamela told me about these people this afternoon. As many of my friends know I have been looking for someone a long time that does home cooking. I called Lakisha and she had it ready for me to pick up within minutes. This has to be the most delicious, scrumptious, wonderful meal I have had for a long long time. They are wonderful cooks everything was made from scratch. The catfish was cooked to a perfection crispy on the outside perfect moist on the inside . I have never tasted candy yams that good ever. Everything was delicious . I will definitely be a steady for them. Very professional , has their City of El Centro license displayed on the window of their kitchen. They have set up a beautiful kitchen to work in and he has his grilling area set up outside. I sure hope they have another dinner this weekend. I happened to be in my hometown of El Centro, CA. I have been anticipating tasting this local, independent vendors BBQ and sides and I must say they did NOT DISAPPOINT!! The ribs were perfect, fell off the bone, the tritip was great as well..potato and MacnCheese were fire!!! The pricing for the meal was $20!! I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will definitely recommend them to everyone. It even comes with a drink!! They have great hospitality and you can see that they value what they do in their business. Avoid this place if you have kids!!! Because they will never eat your food again. And you will constantly hear,”That doesn’t taste like Soul and Sides”!!! The ribs are absolutely delicious!!! The sauce wasn’t too sweet and cooked to perfection. Now for that damn baked potato. Absolutely wrong!!! That thing is dangerous!!! Baked with pulled pork!!!
