One of the best nature spots in the area. A trail loops the man made lake which is home to ducks and geese and you'll also spot sea gulls and pigeons. It's a park that is great for individuals, families and groups. There are plenty of parking benches for sitting or hills for picnics or rolling down them for fun. Some BBQ areas around the park, covered eating areas and a kids playground with outdoors exercise equipment. There is a mini gym. Other than the relaxing view of green grass, trees and water...and the birds chirping--you can find many architectural details and art that is also endorphin releasing. From the vintage tall street lamps, the brick inlay detail on the walkway, cultural murrals and the memorial you continue to discover cool things along your walk/run. There is parking around the park and some public restrooms along with some water fountains. In few words go there if you need a breath...

Read moreThis is a great park. My only concerns are the stains on the floor underneath the playground (what are they?? Pee??) and the lack of a decent wall around the pond. Considering it is right by the playground you would think they'd have safeguarded by putting a taller cement border so that children didn't fall in. It made me really nervous to take my son over there because he could easily slip away and in being that close. It would be nice if the bathrooms had a diaper changer station. Pretty much no park restrooms do but the parks are typically utilized by families with young children. We had a good time and they had some really unique things for older kids like an obstacle course. Wouldn't mind going back the next time I'm...
