Rio Grande Riverpark Trail System — Local services in El Paso

This is a pretty nice trail system with a lot of potential. The trail is about 8 miles long from where we started and finished. It is mostly paved. However, access is weird as there is no defined parking area for the trail. The only gripe about the trail is that it's a little overgrown and could use a crew for a day to go through and trim brush and grass back from the trail. No restrooms...

Google Maps directed me to someone's private house to the side of the trail. I still don't know where or if there is a trailhead and here there is no parking. I asked this nearby veterinarian for permission to park in her lot and walked the sandy river bottom from here. It was good but I'd like to find if there is public parking...
