The Family Center — Local services in Eldon

Bought a stihl chainsaw, ms311 as a gift for my father. 10 days after we purchase the saw we gave it to him as a gift. The 11th day we go to use the saw and it don't work. Call up to family center and they basically give us the o well.. We're told we only have 7 days from Stihl for the product to be returned for the same saw. After 7 days....tuff... Family center will do nothing, not even look at the saw. If they do look at it they want a service fee. Brandnew, really?? I have all my paper work and now I set here with a saw I paid over $500 for that's no good. The manager there is just about as rude as it gets. He though it to be funny and didn't want to help in any way. Well I say this, beware of anything you buy here or now a stihl product. The Family Center is supposed to be a farm and home store, like Tractor Supply, Orschelin's and a bit of Ace Hardware. It's 20 minutes from my house and usually not worth the drive. I will say, the employees know where to send you to look, usually AK Small Engine Repair or Country Corner Small engine. They have a variety of goods, and if you're in the market for Western wear or a new side-by-side, they have a good stock. I normally go to another location for my chicken feed, but due to convenience of this location, I stopped here. I was a little agrivated due to lack of service with Fi do the correct type of feed. An employee did ask if I needed help, after I loaded the 2 very heavy bags onto my cart myself, he was unable to answer my question and did not try to ask anyone else.
