Rude(!!!) but delicious coffee. ⢠They do NOT care about your allergies and charge you extra for non dairy, which btw is not more expensive than Mammalian products. ā¢[To be clear, I abhor having to give this kind of review. š¢]ā¢
I really, REALLY, wanted to love this place. Being the ONLY coffee shop in town, and the only one in many miles, you'd think they'd have nailed it, but unfortunately the really did not. The decor and style is gorgeous and the rental "Over Pour Room" is a fantastic idea and much needed thing in our area, but don't be fooled.
They brew nice coffee and all for only grinding and brewing it, but it isn't worth it to feed their awful attitudes.
It was (very sadly) no different on every single occasion we visited. ((They even ticked off my hubby and that is NOT easy to do. (Especially involving delicious coffee!)!))
Make your own coffee, guys, as it is definitely not worth the drive and the serious extra money. Go to Stover's 'Coffee House' instead.. best yet, go to 'Casey's'. At least they ('Casey's' employees) aren't personally responsible for the coffee's quality anymore as they now have automated machines that make it perfectly... But, bring your own creamer if you're Allergic to Mammalian milks like I am.
Seems like no places out here takes food allergies as seriously as they're supposed to. So, sincerely.. Best of luck y'all!
Just, bring your own creamer wherever you go for coffee. At least you'll know it is safe!
All of the food service places publicly open for business are supposed to take allergies quite seriously, so if you get sick here it's because they care not one iota. They're definitely out for an easy income from being the only choice in many, many miles.. besides the cheaper and more reliable gas...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate: I went back, a week or so later. And I got a coffee that I fell in love with. I ordered the Roasted Sweet Potato Latte with a little extra syrup and looooved it. So I decided to return a little while later, today actually. I saw they had a new special drink with tres leches and I love tres leches the same as I do sweet potatoes. So I ordered it and some sweet potato tarts. The tres leches coffee was excellent and the tarts were okay too. I thought about the recipe and I now have two new great recipes (the latte and the tarts) to make at home for myself when I can't buy them there anymore!
My mom's coffee didn't have as much creamer as she liked, and my pecan pie drink was good but not as sweet as I expected. I was extremely happy to see they were using Ozark Coffee Co. coffee, though. Of all I've had, ever, that's my favorite kind. I'll try it again when I'm nearby. The interior is beautiful and the staff is wonderful. I know with time and an understanding of what to order, I'll like the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHonestly, one of the cutest coffee shops Iāve ever been to (& we go to a lot!) The line was long and it took a while, but rightfully so. Once we tried our drinks and pastries, we completely understood why they have such a non-stop flow of customers. We ordered the iced caramel latte and the Trailblazerāboth were absolutely delicious! We also tried the regular cinnamon roll with cream cheese, the cinnamon roll with maple espresso frosting, and the cream cheese blueberry kolache. Everything was fantastic and definitely worth the wait! This will definitely be a place we visit every time we come to the lake. Plus, the young ladies working were so polite and efficientāgreat customer service on top of quality drinks and food!
Also:I find it important to add that this place was extremely busy, yet it was spotless! Tables, coffee prep area, and restrooms were extremely...
