Family Dollar — Local services in Electra

There seems to be a family Dollar always nearby. For us here in Electra this is a new store, it is being shared with Dollar tree. Both stores are brand new so it is very nice and clean inside. The young staff that worked there are pleasant and kind. It's one of the best "one stop buy shop," we have in this town.. the town of Electra is dying, it is being killed by the people who are running it! Far too many years of mismanagement, and greed has decimated the town of Electra. Watch out for the common dollar store issue of corporate changing the price. Its not the workers fault. Corporate changes prices in the register but the price you see on the shelf will be less. I went in to get some item and got a gallon of milk on the glass door it said $3.50 and I was charged $4.05 at the register. I checked and took a photo and the manager was very nice and refunded the difference. This is common with dollar stores and most people dont pay attention or bother to go back. Family Dollar/Dollar Tree is a nice store in the quaint town of Electra, TX, off of Hwy. 287. The employees were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, due to high winds in the area the store's computer systems were out and couldn't process credit or debit payments. The registers were running slowly, as well.
