Public Storage — Local services in Elgin

WARNING... This five star is for the fabulous, wonderful, & pleased to say one of the BEST managing staff in the Elgin community that represents Public Storage. (Irene) I love the attitude, the respect, and honor to work with when it comes to customer service when dealing with Irene. She not only keeps this place running but seems to have more protect acknowledgment than her higher superior. I'm not a big advocate of the General manage nor his code of ethics when it comes to the horrible individuals you call staff members he decides ti hire. I believe I was racially profiled and felt discriminated when dealing with a young lady that called her self a team member!! I'm a consumer like no other, and my money is good anywhere... I WILL NOT BE TALKED TO OR TREATED BY ANY: UN-EDUCATED, LOW CLASS, (G.E.D.) STATISTIC. BY FAR ITS VERY UN-TASTEFUL NOR A PLEASURE TO SEE MYSELF SPEND MONEY, OR ASK FOR SERVICE FROM ANY INDIVIDUAL. THAT USES THEIR HAIR COLOR, STYLE, LOOK, OR NASTY ATTITUDE IN ORDER TO ADDRESS, IDENTIFY, OR SHOW THEIR PERSONALITY. NOT only is my money or service not good enough, but I guess in 2019 eye contact doesn't mean S@!# when dealing with customers and its more important to be on the company phone laughing and talking to others as if the customer don't exist. ( Facts; check the cameras). OVERALL THEEE worst experience my last week of dealing with, and doing good business with while dealing with horrible staff member and general manger that I believe is supposed to stride off of the customer and energy that's brought to the table...... SMH

After storing my belonging here for a few months, I have been extremely satisfied with the quality of this facility and most of its employees. Not only is this location close to major roadways, which will help when moving houses, but it is also well lit and maintained.

The employees are welcoming and helpful. Whenever I had an issue, whether it was the large (but harmless) spiders that had made a tangle of webs near the entrance to my storage building or when the door on my storage unit kept getting stuck, Paula was always quick and eager to help in anyway she could or call the correct people to assist me. With Paula's help, the entry way is free of the spiders and their webs and my storage unit's door works with such ease. Paula makes this Public Storage feel like a home for your things during a transition; the peace of mind she provides and how she goes out of her way to help customers is a breath...

One thing i can say that is 100 percent for certain..The manager really does care about her job and customers and that is a fact...we had a misunderstanding and i was alittle upset ..I dont know many businesses nowdays that could give a care about troubles in your personal life but i can say that she does ..i dont know any businesses nowdays that WOULD even bother to give you a call to hear what you had to say but she did!!!.....I really really admire a person like this !!!....its too bad that most companies in the world today have forgotten about customer service and satisfaction and only worry about the bottom line....its nice to see a manager who cares about both.....so if you have a problem i would want everyone to know this...just CALL HER AND EXPLAIN AND I BELIEVE FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN FIRST HAND THAT SHE IS A REALLY CARING PERSON AND WILL TRY HER BEST TO REMEDY THE...
