Mr. Beast Burger — Restaurant in Elgin

With all the Hype on MrBeast Burger… i was actually excited to get my order in and give them a try. i started out striking out at a few locations not having the impossible burgers and finally found this one which does. The search was painful. but things should be great … oh wait … let’s get that order in.

We picked our items for our order and was trying to get things finalized. Tried logging in… lost my order. the novelty was fading the NOT So MrBeast Burger….i know your probably saying well it gets better from here… I re-entered my order and details and then i could not tell if my order went through. it never have me a confirmation. But i did eventually get a email confirmation.

i forgot to mention the location was 30 minutes away for this Elgin ghost restaurant.. The hurdles were overcome and was driving to pick up our much awaited MrBeast burgers.

As i pulled up to the Zza location AKA MrBeast… questions started going through my head … like Why the heck is it dark in there… followup with “Okay what the (insert word of choice here) … the door is locked “?!? Then it was maybe i’m at the wrong location… Nope … double checking my email the address of this location was correct. Well hey… maybe the order gets picked up at the drive through… oh no … this is not happening … this place was closed.

Then i get a text that my order “Something Delicious Awaits in your cart” ?!?!… seriously unhappy and angry i figured i should call… Nope leave message and i hear nothing back…

It’s ends poorly no food… 1 hour and 20 mins of driving and trying to figure out what’s up… and the drive home empty handed.

Friends.. Here the short and sweet of it all…. Don’t order from MrBeast… this experience was horrible and never been so disappointed. Lots of Hype and experience was dismally poor. Never trying...

Mr Beastttttttttttttt!

So this place has some pop up locations in other businesses in Wisconsin and my wife and I got to try it. It was very professional and delicious.

Why did I say professional you may ask. Welp, when you see how the packaging is and how each item has little stickers to seal everything tight so it'd fresh that let you know the contents - that is what I am talking about. As someone who does marketing for a living this is GREAT.

Now on to the burger 🍔. I love that this place has fun names for each of their burgers. We need a little light-heartedness and humor these days. The world needs some fun. I really enjoyed the burger overall. I ate it in 3 bites so I can't comment on all the aspects like I should because I ate it so fast. Meat 🍖 was good. Buns were amazing. The rest of the burger items and extras were also yummy. I recommend trying the different variations of the burger. They have something for everyone there if you want a good burger.

DONT WASTE MONEY ON DESSERT!!! Ordered the cookies from them before. Giant good cookies. Now they felt it was ok to substitute the cookie with two smaller worse quality tiny cookies. I even called and gave them an opportunity to make things right. The only answer I was given was that’s what Mr. Beast advised to do. So we paid $9.00 for 6 small cookies. Not to mention tax and 20% tip on that cost. Other food was good as expected. But $9 for 6 cookies equivalent to the size of a soft batch. Horrible. But I feel when a place does something like this, it’s out of pure greed. Should have made it right, because now you lost our future business.
