Esbenshade's Garden Centers & Greenhouse — Local services in Elizabeth Township

Good seletion of spring-flowering bulbs late in the fall season. Many nice plant pots, garden decorations, etc. Good soils & potting mixes. Also some trellises, fire pits, etc. All kinds of stuff for the garden & gardener.

The check out woman was a real sweetheart, but some of the other employees were useless, at best.

One snarked at me for taking a number of clay pots off the shelves to compare & choose my favorites, as they had noticeable variations. She also snarled at two young children for leaving a door open.

Another spent at least 15 minutes in over-the-top snuggling & loud baby talk with a customer's dog, repeating the phrase, "Oh sweetie, you just wanna climb right inside me, don't you. Yesh you do, I know you do!!!"

This obnoxious behavior (& shirking duties) was right next to where I was trying to pick out my flower bulbs. I'd've bought more, but had to leave the area.

The prices were all over the map, with some items overpriced & others bargains.

Somewhat of a drive for me, so I doubt...

This place is hands down the best and biggest nursery/garden center I have ever been to. I now live in Pittsburgh and I wait until I visit home to buy plants because no local plant stores come close to the selection.

Huge variety of healthy plants (especially impressive collection of succulents) from very large to very tiny, seeds and bulbs for most flowers and produce, pots and planters of all sizes from cheap plastic ones to beautiful glazed ceramic ones, and all the gardening tools, soils, plant foods, and garden decor that a gardener (or houseplant enthusiast like me) would typically need.

The prices are fair and consistent with local competitors if not better, and usually for healthier plants. And this place is GIANT. I literally go here sometimes just to walk around in the greenhouses and admire the greenery.

There aren't usually that many employees here when I go, but I don't have any trouble getting answers to my questions. Everyone here has always been friendly...

I absolutely LOVE ❤️ this Garden Store!!!! I moved into this area a few years ago and was devastated not be able to bring along most of my beautiful flowers that took me so long to design and fill with scheduled blooms. Then I was genuinely Excited to find out that I moved so close to my Favorite kind of Store. I have enjoyed many hours browsing and shopping to slowly rebuild my new flower and water gardens. Thanks to Espenshades Greenhouse, with their Amazing selection of annuals and perennials, that are strong and very healthy, I am well under way!! The staff are So pleasant and helpful that every trip there is something I look forward to. You can't go wrong with Espenshades!! They are very reasonable with prices and have a great rewards program that give you dollar amount coupons to redeem towards your purchases!!
