We love this place and the owners are so wonderful! We went for the first time today to the new location. The options for activities are still so fun and I love how everything is arranged now.
I have a 3 yo and a 1 yo so my time at places like these is very limited, depending on how long they last and the weather, etc.
What I'm discouraged about is that we were there right after 10 and luckily there was no line yet at the slide or the bounce pillow. We took the trek all the way to the back to the slide only to be told we couldn't ride yet. Same with the bounce pillow. If you're open at 10, everything should be open at 10. I was hoping to do those things when my kids had the most optimism and energy and it's a bummer to be turned away when you've paid $26.
We walked all the way around to do the hay ride and in that time, two or three bus fulls of kids arrived and there was a line at everything. Ten minutes later my kiddos hands were frozen and she no longer had the patience to do anything else (no one's fault, just toddlers) and then everyone started crying. Luckily we paid the field trip price for her but usually my 3 yo would also cost $26-$30 to get in, which seems like a lot considering this age probably won't be able to stay very long.
Staff were very sweet and the new location was beautiful. We'll try...
Read moreToday was opening day for 2024! I was so impressed with this pumpkin patch! Every single person that works there looked super happy like they loved being there, very friendly and super helpful. They would walk long distances when they saw us trying to take selfie family photos on our own and offered to help. We usually come to this one every year but this was our first time here since they moved it from Elizabeth to Kiowa. There were so many new experiences we have never seen before and we ALL had a blast! We spent 4.5 hours here and only left because it was about to rain. They had paintball target shooting and apple launchers with targets which were the adult favorites, brewery garden, tractor hay ride, tractor pulling horse cars, a place where you can rope some steer, play for hole/ tic tac toe, a HUGE obstacle course, petting zoo, corn maze, corn bins to play in, Zipline, and slides. The food was all delicious and reasonable. They have tons of photo areas. My favorite was in front of the old truck filled with pumpkins and in front of the sunflower field. I highly recommend!!!! Every one of us had a blast and it was the best customer service experience I’ve experienced in a long time. Good job to all The Patch employees and owners!! HIGHLY...
Read moreWe went to The Patch yesterday as a large group (12 of us) and we had a blast! There was an excellent variety of activities that kept all of the kiddos entertained. The kids loved the ropes course, bouncing pillows, slide, zip line, corn crib, broncing broncos, and the hay ride. They also loved the mini maze, and the grown up maze.
The corn was a bit short, but the maze was still fun to navigate. I imagine the corn being short was due to how dry it has been, and is out of the owners’ control. You can tell the corn down the hill is taller, and water flows down hill, so it all logically makes sense to me.
The animals were all adorable and you can tell they are healthy and well taken care of. I saw some reviews that state that the cows are not mini - they are definitely not full-sized and I think some people just get confused what “mini” means when it comes to farm animals. It’s not like dog breeds, ha.
There was also a good selection of pumpkins to choose from!
We were all honestly very happy with our experience and we all kept talking about how great the place was while we were there and afterwards.
PS for those curious - the adults in our group are 31-63 years old, and the...
