Hardin County Farmers Market — Local services in Elizabethtown

Wonderful wholesome produce that is locally grown. Be sure and check out the all natural produce (no chemicals used) at the booth of Modern Heritage Farm. The owners, Jessica & John Thomas Hodges, are both friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I purchased enough at the last visit to make several jars of hot pepper jelly as well as a large batch of homemade salsa. Both were a big hit with family and friends. The market often sponsers activites for kids that helps them to learn where their food comes from...

Nice selection of produce, honey, jams, etc at different price points. The crowd had a friendly, lively vibe. The weekly food truck selection was a delicious savory pasty biz and also a quality small -batch coffee popup. I'm making tarragon chicken and mixed greens in a butter garlic sauce from the organic produce I found there. It would be cool to see some musicians and more variety of vendors set...

Visited to see what was going on. There were about 20 vendors and all seemed busy. We bought some flowers for $15 and they were enjoyed by the grandparents.

Lots of parking made it very easy for folks to visit. Try some food while you’re there.
