Rent-A-Center — Local services in Elk City

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I’ve been waiting over a month for an order that I was told was coming and only half came.. after dealing with Shawn and the store manager Jordan to put a fridge, tv and entertainment center on an agreement they put me off for weeks telling me they had “other customers to help” Or just not getting back to me with the information I needed for the rental such as price per week and pictures of the items since it was a phone order that I PAID FOR. They come deliver half my order and after a month of waiting and no communication about the fridge or anything else I assumed it was taken care of but Jordan tells me he is “still waiting on shelves for the fridge and it’s not his fault..” He told me I wasn’t even typed up on an agreement yet for it. He never bothered to text or call and tell me there would be no fridge coming after I specifically told him I had family coming for the Fourth of July weekend... Mind you I’m thinking everything has been taken care of for delivery after he said he was going to get the shelves by the first of the month. It is now the third of the month and I refuse to deal with the lack of communication and incompetence that Elk city rentacenter has placed in that store and called “store management”... I asked for the district managers number and was not given a direct number, only an 800 number. As far as I’m concerned they can keep helping “other customers” because I would NEVER recommend this place to my worst enemy! Aarons took care of me and we’re happy to go out of their way to get me the items I need with zero problems, zero hassle, and ZERO INCOMPETENCE. Thank you Aarons for your the professionalism, thorough communication, and SENSE OF URGENCY that Rentacenter in Elk City apparently does NOT know how to provide! I’m so happy this...

They like to show up to your house looking for a payment even after you tell several employees that you are out of state taking care of arrangements for your dieing grandfather!! Even after being told several times from a employee that it was fine to come in and pay when you can, their response when I told the manager that was that said employee was no longer there!! And now they won't even except a payment they just want to pick up the merchandise!! Horrible business and will not work with you! Do not recommend going with rent a center your better off with aarons or somewhere where they won't try to completely screw you over..and by the way the couch we have they expect 800 when its falling apart,was falling apart when we got it, which was mentioned all the response was is well the employee you reported it to no longer...

I got a TV and was told it was half price and total before taxes would be 350 as they were on sale for half price, so I agreed and added to my account, made 2 payments and went to pay it off after having it for a month and was told it had damn near doubled in price to 595$ to pay it off. When I asked how there response was quite literally that's what the computer said. Wheni then informed them I still had text messages from the agent that the price was supposed to be 350$ they had no response other than they can come pick it up if I no longer wanted it. Horrible horrible service. Will be posting reviews on FB and filing complaints with corporate as well as the FTC. They can do just that they can come get it. Not paying double what I was quoted for it...
