Coming from NYC, when my husband and I started planning our Buffalo wedding, I relied heavily on social media to find a hair stylist/make up artist for my bridal look and also my bridesmaids, mom, and mother-in-law.

I’ve had my make up done for a friend’s wedding once and I hated how I didn’t look myself, it was way too glammed up. Looking at Salon Elizabeth’s Instagram account their style of makeup is very minimal, using make up to highlight everyone’s best features. I communicated trials and other bookings directly with Elizabeth via email, and it couldn’t have been easier!

I scheduled my trial makeup/hair with Mallory and absolutely LOVED my look. I brought a couple of inspo pics and she was able to replicate with ease. For my wedding day, I chose to get ready at the salon since the interior was absolutely beautiful, you got nice comfy chairs to get beautified in, and it’s much more spacious than a hotel room!

After I got my hair and make up done, Mallory provided me a cute to-go bag with oil blotting sheets, hairspray, and a bit of the lipstick color she used on me. I’m a crier so I asked if the makeup will hold - Mallory said all the mascara/eyeliner are waterproof and the setting spray she uses are what synchronized swimmers use.

As expected, I bawled during my ceremony and can confirm my make up did not budge one bit.

I hired Salon Elizabeth to do the hair and makeup for my wedding this July. The whole experience with Liz and her team was great. This salon is the perfect choice for wedding day beauty. The team was easy to work with and right on time for our wedding. They executed the timeline perfectly as I had 10 hair and 11 makeup to get done before pictures. It was relieving to have hired a team that does this type of work often and knows how to handle the time frame they have. They are efficient and very skilled! Everyone looked so beautiful and my bridesmaids were super thrilled with the makeup and asked for the business card of the MU artist! The airbrush make up looks awesome and really lasts all day long. I had a few girls in my party that don't often wear a lot of makeup or style their hair much and the team did a great job of listening to those girls and making sure the style was natural and what the girls liked. Liz is very professional with handling the bookings, trials and scheduling. I am glad that I did the trial so that I was able to tweak a few things ahead of time (which definitely saves time and decision making on the wedding morning). She did such a wonderful job on my hair and makeup. I loved everything and felt very beautiful. Thank you Liz! You made our wedding day beauty...

I met Liz through one of her open houses, and right from the beginning she was super kind and accommodating (even when my girls changed their mind multiple times). I went to see her twice to get my hair cut and colored prior to my bridal trial so we could both begin to get a good feel for the look I was going for. For my bridal trial, Liz spent more than two hours making sure that it was everything I wanted and making sure on the day of that we would have no hiccups.

My wedding morning went flawlessly. We arrived at Salon Elizabeth and her team was ready and waiting to get all my girls ready. We had the whole salon to ourselves where we could take pictures inside and on their beautiful outside garden/patio. The whole experience was extremely special, and my girls and I left on time, happy and beautiful.
