I loved the store Peace Works...so many beautiful things to see at reasonable prices. From many countries. I could spend hours in that store. The owner Julie is just a gem. She feels like a best friend. I went back the next day because I hadn’t explored everything in her store. There is also the general store run by a lovely couple. I got wonderful gifts for myself and my family at both places. The town is something out of a story book and the people are wonderful....some were my professors...

Would be nice to see one back as otherwise it's a long drive to Alton or Grafton. Easy walk to a good view of Mississippi River. Also parking lot there as well. The lady in the resale shop next door was charming and resales items to try and save the building some one is trying to tear down.
