Chevron Food Mart — Local services in Elwood

Worst gas station experience ever. We went in and filled up fountain drinks. Went to pay and the cashiers told us that they wouldn't be able to check us out for 15-20 mins so they could fill out a report! Since you can't put fountain drinks back we had to wait. And then they weren't even kind or apologetic after making us and the entire store wait (Granted it was 11PM but they were kind of rude). Fortunately it wasn't quite 15 minutes but still, tell people beforehand so they can get back...

Local. My wife x'd this place years ago (due to bad attitudes at the register). I've given them a chance occasionally for the last few years (mostly for Arby's). Seems years of opportunities haven't fixed anything. Always rude, have no common sense, the "leader dude" (owner? Manager?) Is pompous and arrogant even though common sense fails him. Maybe treat customers with some slight level of respect? I dunno... I highly suggest you look elsewhere. What a waste of a...

Clean place for the most part. Men's restroom only has ONE toilet and it was almost out of Toilet paper, but the restroom was mostly clean. Service was good in the store as well as the Arby's. ABSOLUTELY NO SHOWERS!!! She joked and said she had a hose out back though, if only it was hooked up to the hot water...
