Emmett Cherry Festival — Local services in Emmett

What a lovely day and time this afternoon! Today is the first day, and there was a solid amount of folks enjoying perfect weather. Not overcrowded today. Our first time visiting and we were so surprised how perfectly laid out what would normally seem like a decent sized park have SO MUCH going on! And the cherries at the cherry stand....fantastic! We asked for a cup to spit our pits, and they said...just enjoy and spit 'em out! Only "complaint" is the price for rides is steep. They should have a junior unlimited band that costs less for just the little kiddo rides. Thank you Emmett for a great display of what makes this...

It's a small town carnival with rides , local music acts with booths selling everything knick knacks to insurance but not a lot of local crafts. Lots of food booths but I was hoping for cherries! No cherries to be found really.. you can buy a tiny bucket of cherries from the chamber of commerce booth for $8 and you can get a piece of cherry pie or cheesecake from Idaho Pizza booth. They need to have some of the local bakeries and orchards selling their cherries, jams and pies! We ended up going to a local orchard a picking out own...

We got a great corndog at my first Cherry Festival. The festival was lacking something.... uh......Cherries! Cherries were sold out early( We left by 2pm) and I mistakenly thought there would be lots of cherry products. I bought a cherry pie that was sad, it tasted like canned filling. There were lots of booths with lousy imported cheap toys, just junk! There were also some boost with nice things, but they were few and far between. One and...
