We had the BEST day boating with Captain Sonny. We chose the full day sand bar adventure (south). I would recommend a full day tour. The time goes by fast. Sonny was great with our time management and making sure we had just enough time at each stop, without feeling rushed. We kept him busy with baiting the hooks and taking off the many fish that we caught. We found shark teeth at Stump Pass and nice shells. The boys caught a few fish there. We all enjoyed exploring Stump Pass. We were happy to see around 8 dolphin throughout our boating adventure. A couple locals at the Gasparilla Sandbar showed the kids how to get on top of the railroad bridge, which made for an awesome picture. Sonny was amazing! He is laid back but knowledgeable. We had such a wonderful time for a 7 hour tour. He was very attentive, great with my 2 kids and us 4 adults. He stopped so we could watch dolphins and he searched for us to see manatees. If you want relaxation not feeling rushed book with him. My kids snorkeled and we used the lily pad for some more relaxation. He showed us awesome marine life like huge conch shells with snails, hermit crab, even a star fish.
