For those who don’t want to read the entire review I will say this: this store does NOT put their customers first, they do NOT take responsibility for their mistakes. Worst experience ever and if I could give a -0 start I would.... I was having a great day so I decided to try my luck with the scratch tickets instead of the Megas which is what I usually purchase however after inserting my $20 bill I realized that the ticket I wanted was out of order and the clerk said he could not do anything about and that I would have to buy another ticket so I chose another one that had the price of $5 on the ticket but the machine light up as $20.00 so before selecting it I spoke to the same clerk and pointed out the error and explained I wanted 4 of the $5 tickets but was afraid I would only get one instead so he brought 3 $5 tickets out and said I had to buy the 4th one from the machine, I explained I wanted all 4 from the same row but he said that was my only option so I did and than he walked away. Than after I purchased more tickets from another machine, the same clerk came back and offered to replace the ticket for one in the back and as he was speaking he looked at the ticket that I had just purchased and realized it was a $20 ticket instead of a $5 and tried to take it from me... I had no idea it was a $20 ticket until he pointed it out but given the mess that I had just gone through to finally get the tickets and the way he handled the issue I responded by explaining that his approach and behavior was not right because it was their mistake not mine. After arguing with him and his manager I was forced to give the ticket back so I gave all four of them back and requested a refund and This is NOT right... I should not have been forced to give back the ticket when it was clearly their mistake which they should have taken full responsibility for their mistake and allowed me to keep the tickets because this was their mistake not mine. Next time I am feeling lucky I will definitely think twice about going to this place. After this horrible experience I rather drive another hour just to get the right service that I deserve as...
Read moreI recently visited The Lotto Store with high hopes of a smooth and enjoyable experience, but what awaited me was far from satisfactory. The lines were not just long; they were excruciatingly endless, stretching far beyond what anyone's patience could endure.
Upon arrival, I was greeted not by the promised attractions but by a sea of disgruntled faces, all resigned to the fact that they were in for a long wait. The queue snaked its way around the venue like a never-ending labyrinth, leaving me feeling like a mouse trapped in a maze of frustration.
As minutes turned into hours, my enthusiasm waned, replaced by a growing sense of disappointment and irritation. The lack of organization and efficiency only added insult to injury, as staff seemed indifferent to the plight of their customers, offering no solace or explanation for the interminable wait.
By the time I finally reached the front of the line, any semblance of excitement had long evaporated, leaving only a bitter taste in my mouth. The attractions, no matter how enticing, could not make up for the wasted hours spent queuing like cattle in a pen.
In conclusion, my experience at The Lotto Store was marred by excessively long lines, lackluster customer service, and a complete disregard for the value of visitors' time. Save yourself the agony and steer clear of this establishment unless you have an abundance of patience and...
Read moreIMPORTANT NOTE: As of 5/19/2020, this location is still temporarily closed due to government lockdown orders; be aware that convenience stores further into California are open but may require face coverings to enter unlike most such establishments in Vegas.
As others have noted, this is the closest CA Lottery outlet to Las Vegas, about 30ish minutes South on I-15. Reasonably convenient, but when jackpot amounts get very large ($500M or so) keep in mind that EVERYONE in the Las Vegas area is visiting this one location (it's advertised as the highest-volume lottery retailer in CA for good reason). I've seen (and driven right past) lines around the outside of the building during such times; in that case I drive another half hour or so deeper into California to stop at a convenience store instead (Baker is the next town on the road). During "normal" times, the line can be long inside the store but does generally move quickly; there are self-serve kiosks available as well to buy tickets but redeeming them requires...
