Crystal Mountain Parking — Local services in Enumclaw

The entire parking experience at crystal is ruining my resort-going passion. The road leading to crystal has been overly congested compared to previous years and prior to the reservation system kicking in, Crystal was having their staff stand in the middle of the road to block the flow of traffic and direct it into specific lots. This was increasing drive times by over an hour.

Now with the reservation system added and the resort threatening to fine or revoke iKon passes if you don't follow through with a reservation is obscene and so disheartening.

Crystal has become the Breckenridge of Washington. It's got some great terrain and high quality facilities but it's so busy these days it's just not worth it. The lines are too long, the lodges are too crowded and the slopes are too packed. Even mid week the masses seem to engulf this place. The last 45 miles to the resort is a 2 lane highway, but you are following all the Prius drivers from Seattle doing 25 mph the whole way. And that's how the resort feels as well.
