Family Dollar — Local services in Estancia

In Estancia, it is nice to have a store other than the convenience stores to buy some groceries and household items. Most of the clerks are always nice, but the store is somewhat messy and disorganized. For example, I went in a few days ago, and their sign read, "additional 25% off of red tag items", but at the cash register, the items do not all ring up that way. Some red tag items did ring up with the additional off, but some didn't. When I asked the cashier about it, she said she didn't know why, but didn't correct it either. I've tried multiple times to use their save 5 10 or 20 dollars app and it works about as well as the whole store! The staff are stupendous considering what corporate consistently puts them through. There are a few that go ABOVE AND BEYOND and corporate just seems in my opinion to take advantage of those people until they can't take it anymore and quit. They don't seem to recognize the staff that holds this store together. This store IS OUR LIFELINE IN THIS GHOST TOWN and we have NO OTHER so I guess they have us over a barrel and don't care if their coupon app works correctly or not. Such is corporate...

I came into town to shoot a Wedding and wasn’t expecting ( The with how small the town is I should have ) to see the store stocked with everything that I could possibly need including SD cards, home supplies and decor, actual books (which is rare to find a decent book selection now) and soo much more! The stars were amazing and patient while I wandered around like a kid in the candy store. 10/10...
