We have worked with Rob Swanson for over 25 years. He has crafted and installed a significant number of details into our previous home and our current home. His work has consistently been outstanding. He is creative and extremely skilled in carpentry. Every piece of work, every project, he has built into our homes has been a thing of beauty. Just in our homes, he has installed bars, bookcases, cabinets, armoires, custom closets, custom garage cabinetry, coffered ceilings, floor and ceiling moldings, wainscoting and chair rails. Every project reflects his superb craftsmanship.

On every project he listens to our ideas, then creates a design, and then we discuss further ideas and refinements. He is easy to work with. During some of our remodels, we asked him to create some custom work. When he said that he hadn’t done anything like that before, the conversation didn’t just stop there; he told us that he would learn about it and then see if he could give it a try. For example, he put in beautiful solid-core doors, steps, and stairway railings in our previous home. Every project was a great success. His work always shows imagination, care, artistry, and tremendous attention to detail.

I asked Rob to design and build a custom wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling bookcase with a library ladder for my home. From the very beginning, he understood what I had in mind and proceeded to make it a reality with skill and attention to detail.
