The Candy Shop Nails — Local services in Euclid

The candy shop... I don't know where to begin. I was told they were a good place to get a gel manicure. I made an appointment and when I got there I was happy to be the only one being serviced. The conversation was friendly and the atmosphere was calm. While getting my nails done the nail tech told me she was only 17 I didn't think much of it at the time because I know you have to be licensed to work at any shop. When I was done my nails looked nice. Nice enough for me to leave a tip. Later that evening I noticed some peeling on one nail and then on two more by the next day. Then I started to wonder if the tech had licensed because this had never happened to me before. It was hard to determine if my tech was licensed especially since her and the owner(her mom) have the same name. I called, the lady was nice she told me to come back in. Even though my time is limited and due to the virus I really don't like to make unnecessary trips. I went.... my nails were soaked and scrubbed, soaked and scrubbed so much my natural nail beds were Raw. So I asked can you just put on a top coat to give my nails time to heal. She did and before I left the owner gave me $20 of my money back. That didn't make me happy because I came for a simple service and left in pain and disappointed. Now I can't have any type of polish until my nail beds heal. So if you want tips or overlays thats the place. But if you pride yourself in your natural nails go somewhere else BECAUSE THEY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH...

I absolutely love this place. I was recommended from a work friend. I will be absolutely truthful I've been here twice but both times that I've went I have walked out and stayed completely happy and satisfied with my nails. I know for sure my first set with a blue and lavender with white heart on them absolutely were perfect on the second time I went it had been almost a month since I had gotten there because of health issues but it was also right before Mother's Day and the daughter the young lady is so professional so many manners she did an absolute amazing job I will continue going there as long as I have the money as the only reason why I haven't went for the third time. My money is been a little short and my nails have to take the short end of the money stick I guess you could say. I highly recommend this place if you're willing to make an appointment and at the beginning of each week there usually is a little slow and which makes it easier to get into Fridays and Saturdays are usually swamped. You can go in there and have a sports conversation any kind of gun conversation for the fact any kind of conversation I felt safe and everything,I absolutely adore this place I absolutely adore the woman whom work there...

My daughter went here today to get her nails done for her birthday. She says the first strike was when she asked the lady if she could do nail art. My daughter showed her the pic and the lady bluntly says "No, I can't do that." When my daughter made the appt she asked if they do nail art. I was told after that the lady was very rude, unprofessional, and complained about how tired she was. When your dealing with the public your always supposed to have your game face on. YOU choose your occupation. Your clients should never have to feel, nor experience YOUR blow back from a bad day. After all, they choose YOUR business to spend their money with. She'll never go back, and we'll be sure to tell anyone we know about her experience. Do better queen. It doesn't take much to fix your crown. Just a little more dedication, and compassion....
